pattern play

Print mixing is nothing new to me, but there's a lot of print going on here. I actually really love it - and as crazy as these prints amy be together, they're very complimentary. They have similar color stories, one doesn't overpower the other so your eye travels, and there isn't too much going on when you really look at it. It was a lovely afternoon in Larchmont Village (one of my favorite LA neighborhoods to stroll) with a very good friend.

I've decided that there should be an endless supply of kimonos.

heavenfaced

I have two favorite rompers and this is one of them - I bought it last year at Forever 21 and it has made me so happy after multiple wears. It has a beautiful open back (a good excuse to not wear a bra) and long sleeves. It's an easy print to wear since it's a simple black and white. Lately I've been digging this romper with booties as worn.

summer color

The perfect color combination will always be the combination that lacks color: black and white. My sister got me this adorable top for Christmas and I wear it all the time! The feminine collar pairs fantastically with these modern origami style shorts and edgy black booties.

I love mixing ultra-feminine pieces with super edgy or masculine looks. I feel like there's aways a way to mix and match your wardrobe that way without giving away your entire personality on a first impression.

Do you mix feminine with edgy?
