NYE outfits: Sprout by HP

I've always wanted Cher's closet from the movie Clueless, so when HP sent me this incredible creative station called the Sprout, I had to make it happen with my own little CIY (create it yourself) project. The Sprout by HP ditches the keyboard and mouse and brings creativity to life with two displays, one is a 23 inch touch screen monitor, the other a 20 inch interactive mat. The PC (yes, a PC!) is decked out with 3 cameras so you can scan anything your heart desires - it's even equipped with a 3D scanner so you can send your creations to your 3D printer. HP describes the Sprout as an "immersive computing platform", and I think I have to agree. Along with tons of programs and exclusive apps for the Sprout, this work station also runs as a regular computer - perfect for blog posts!

Back to my closet - I'm facing a challenge. I have no idea what to wear out on New Years Eve! I must ring in the new year in style. My dear friend Abby (who is also a genius designer and incredible artist) whipped up some fashion drawings of yours truly along with the looks that I narrowed down to celebrate the start of 2015. I scanned all my looks with the Sprout, and I even scanned in a necklace that I already own to see how it would look with these potential outfits.

shine through the darkness

It's the season to sparkle and I'm not stopping anytime soon. I didn't really gravitate toward the leather jogger trend, but these sequins did me in and I had to have them. They were a steal (under $30) from Forever 21, and they only had a medium so I sized up 2 sizes. I actually like them baggy, I think if they were tight fitting they wouldn't create the look that I wanted.

What do you think of all the sequin and metallic overload? Are you wearing sequins and sparkle this holiday season?

golden girl

I absolutely cannot get enough of metallics and sequins this holiday season. I actually have around 6 NYE dresses and no plans at all. What's a girl to do? This rose gold dress is a lovely find from Charlotte Russe (yes, right in your local mall). Would you wear this statement dress to your New Years party?

'tis the season

Tis the season! What a wonderful holiday it has been!

I'm at home in Ohio with my family, but I wore this top last night on Christmas Eve. I have a serious obsession with sequins this year. It was a crazy day of travel, I took my cat with me and the airport was full of characters. Eleanor and I got back to Ohio safely, and we're here celebrating Christmas with family!

Also, have you noticed? I've posted this on my Instagram, but I'm a brunette now!

Happy Holidays everyone!
