Spring is all about layers and the temperature in Los Angeles varies from sweater weather to bikini weather more often than my mood swings. With that being said, this day was quite temperamental and I was in no mood to take a chance with getting stuck in the cold.
I layered a long-sleeve romper (seen as a whole in this post) with a chunky knit sweater, an infinity scarf, and some nylon knee high socks. I accessorized this look with a floppy fedora and some vintage booties and a vintage bag. To me, layering can come in handy in any season, but the in-betweeners (yes, I made up that word - and yes, I mean spring and autumn) force you to learn how to layer.
When I layer, I think not only about comfort and temperature, but I love to play with textures and prints. I like contradictory fashion, so pairing a chunky knit top with a light and dainty bottom amuses me.
