behind enemy lines

A little black and white can go a long way.

A good crop top and a high waisted skirt can officially be named as my go-to outfit combination, and add a good wool or felt hat to that. The best way to spice up a black and white look is to play with pattern, shapes, and accessories! Be careful not to overdo anything, though.

Blogging is something that I've been doing for quite some time, and since I'm new to the WeHo neighborhood with the coolest roommate ever, I'm so excited to have her (and her awesome fashion sense) join me on some posts! My roommate/best friend/pretty much sister/wife (aka my sisterwife - in the creepiest way possible) has a clean, edgy, incredible fashion sense. We share a lot of the same pieces, but we style them completely differently. She's also stunningly beautiful, so that's cool.

On this day, we didn't know we got dressed in the same color combo, but it's pretty cool to see how we style these colors differently.

dots on dots

Well, I went on another MIA spell again, but for good reason! After the launch of Satterday, I moved (once again) from Ohio to Los Angeles (for good!).

This year has been full of adventures, moves, and all sorts of experiences. I wouldn't take a moment back, but I'm pretty thankful to have settled in paradise and to have a home for a while. Suitcase living was challenging for me. I have plenty of closet space here (plus a few garment racks).

I also live with my best friend, and I'm excited to feature her in quite a few posts. She has an incredible sense of fashion, and really, we're two peas in a pod.

This look was obviously inspired by extreme happiness! Bright colors, polka dots, the whole shebang can pretty much explain how I feel about living in California. Let the adventures begin!
