i just found out a ghost left town

I've got a serious polka dot fetish going on, and I can't seem to shake it. As the perfect print, the simple polka dot can seriously be paired with any other print (as long as its paired well). I played with color more on this day, mixing a bright pink with mint green. On the verge of summer, I couldn't help but to embrace my favorite season coming to a beginning.
This skirt is one of my favorites, but it is quite big on me. I'm too stuck on the color to get rid of it, so I look it in with a broach, such a simple fix! A bow shaped broach pinned in the back gives a fun, feminine touch and solves a wardrobe problem with no sewing skills required!

one of these days the world is gonna find you

Maxi dresses are so perfect. They allow you to feel feminine during cooler weather, they can be as dressy or as casual as you want them to be, and you don't have to chave your legs. I mean... umm..
These shots are a continuation of my shoot with Lauren Grayson Photography - Akron area folks, please check out her work
I'm on the verge of releasing a project that I've been working hard on, and when I do this, you all will be able to purchase the flower crowns I've been making and wearing on this blog (among other amazing goodies). Be on the lookout!

look how they shine for you

One of my favorite moments to experience is a perfect thrift find. This skirt made me scream like a psychotic Backstreet Boys fan (um... what?) when I found it at my favorite Akron thrift store. It is THE perfect ballerina skirt, especially with tutu-type midi skirts floating around the blogosphere. Plus, it fit me more than perfectly. I think it was made for me.

Pairing something so formal and almost costumesque should more than likely be basic and simple. A white tee is always my go-to, and it didn't fail me with this look.
